I think he has vascular dementia. It's pretty common. He has had two strokes. Two vascular clipping neuro-surgeries. And he has chronic atrial fibrillation. All of which are risk factors for vascular dementia. Vascular dementia progressive but has a different course than Alzheimer's.

Biden did not correct himself when he said Lincoln instead of Laken. A stutterer would have normally corrected himself when he realized his error pronouncing Laken's name. And I have had a course in Geriatrics in medical school. I have actually given MoCA exams to patients.

Mood swings are common in dementia patients. His White House aides are afraid of his mood swings.
