Shrinkflation has been a thing since 1980s. I remember them talking about it on the news before Reagan took office. This is like watching H.W. Bush get all excited about the scanner at the grocery store in 1992... I know Biden just figured it out, but that doesn't change that we've all known that packing shrinkage is all part of inflation I pointed it out in 2008 with the Big Macs losing heft.... Having him point out aspects of inflation caused by his own policy isn't helping him.
