Lauren Boebert must hate Ken Buck...

This replacement election on the same date as the primary election is going to cause confusion among the masses. Polis likely knew it would.

Basically this is what is going to happen:

The State Central Committees for all major parties (there's only 2) will meet and select a candidate to be seated from June until Jan, whenever new Congresscritters are sworn in, those two candidates will be on the same ballot that the primary candidates selecting someone to run for the position in November as the new Congresscritter.

There will be two votes regarding the CD4 on that ballot, one to "temp" replace Buck until the newly elected candidate is minted fresh, and one to vote for who will run in November for that same seat.

Boebert just got hosed by Ken Buck. The Vacancy committee isn't going to put her in and vacate a different CD in Colorado... she'll now be running against a semi incumbent with a voting record... and she can't just return to CD3... she's just been hosed...

We all knew she was done when she was groping at the theater.

She is a pathetic joke of a congresswoman and a horrible human being.

All true - and yet she remains vastly better than Nancy Pelosi, Rashada Tlaib, AOC, and Ilhan Omar.

I see no way she could get re-elected, but I error in thinking Repubs can do the right thing occasionally. Are saying you think she should get re-elected?

Yet look at how many times that pile of shit Pelosi was reelected...

Will she have to give up her current seat if she enters the fray? Can one be a representative from one district why running for office in another?

Just looking at how f*cked up and dysfunctional the current House is vividly displays the brilliance of Pelosi

She'd have to vacate her seat in CD3 if she were elected to fill the vacancy in CD4. This would cause a second vacancy in another district, the vacancy committees would have to meet again to select candidates to fill that one. Then she'd still have to run for CD4 in November... and most there think of her as a carpetbagger.

It displays the lockstep marching of the Democrats. The Republicans seem to march to their own tune at times, unlike the Democrats who all bow to the party line regardless of their beliefs. Notice the sudden silence from the pro-Palestinian Congresscritters who were criticizing Brandon earlier... That happens because of the control the party holds over every Democrat.

It's strange to me that folks ignore what they see and believe that the Party everyone claims is all "lockstep" and believes the "same" and/or "fascist" is the one that has renegades annoying leadership especially at times when it matters, while the party that is supposedly full of individual thinkers is the one marching lockstep, especially so when it matters.

Not entirely true, Pelosi endured the same slim majority that the current GOP has yet she managed to control the different factions, particularly the left wing , inorder to accomplish legislation, it wasn’t any easier for her but her leadership abilities prevailed

Except, as I stated, when it mattered... All I heard was marching to the beat drummed by Pelosi. They are allowed to be annoying to her, up to a point. Then the Jackboots come out when their beliefs are going to get in the way of the party's agenda.

Again, not entirely true, Pelosi never “jackbooted” anyone, she didn’t arrange primaries against those that criticized her nor personally insulted them in public, her House wasn’t dominated by an outside influence, she was in control, she didn’t need anyone else’s approval to get things done. Her greatest weapon, carrot if you like, was her ability to raise funds for incumbents

And Boebert just threw in the towel

democrats are totalitarians. That the hive buzzes in lockstep has nothing to do with Nazi Piglousi.

And this house has done more for America than democrats have in the last 40 years. The job of Republicans is to stop the enemy of America - the democrats - and try to undo some of the damage the traitors have done.

What? This House has done nothing, zilch, zero, currently on pace to be one of the worse in U.S. History, not only an embarrassment, but a joke

Put up or shut up, list six, just six, accomplishments of this House, and seating and unseating a Speaker numerous times ain’t an accomplishment

I gave you far more than that. Turn off MSDNC and navigate away from the radical left hate sites...

Good point, but we could see it the reverse way, Buck must hate Boebert.

When a member, like Ken Buck, of the Freedom Caucus, throws in the towel on the Trumptards- That really says something!

Say, wasn't it Ken Buck that was throwing punches in the House Chamber at his fellow Freedom Caucus members during the 3rd vote count to elect McCarthy to be their leader of the House?

I believe it was him. The writing should have been seen on the wall about his career in the House back then.

I like Ken Buck, he has guts and obviously a breaking point.
he would find you to be a tremendous jackass and fascist
