We have had legal immigration for a very long time and VERY FEW people have ever objected to legally vetted people going through the naturalization process. We let approximately 1 million legal immigrants in a year to live in the US. That is one in every 330 American citizens EVERY year.

Yep . My wife worked for a Federal judge and he did the naturalization ceremony for our preacher who is from Ukraine. We were happy to see him get citizenship. But he did it the right way.
