Yes, almost certainly the end of TrumpCo if he cannot come up with the bond.
And he might have it already, and is simply hoping to get a better bond deal, to reduce it by lying and saying he does not. He and his lawyers lied and told the court in the E Jean case they did not have the bond and needed it reduced and then when the judge refused and the deadline came, Trump produced a bond by Chubb Insurance with a date that showed it was issued to him BEFORE he lied to the judge and said he did not have one.
But if he fails this time, Lettisha will almost certainly seize and fire sale his assets. She will not care to take years to try and maximize the value of such assets in a sale and will just create an auction and take 'best offer'.
That is how a sale by Trump of his own assets would differ from a sale run by Letisha. She is not trying to maximize the return on those assets by waiting for 'better cycles in the market' so that NYS can be fully paid and then any extra money can be returned to Trump. I think she would be fine selling them fast for $0.70 on the dollar, and then moving on to the next asset, and the next and the next. And if in the end the State of NY does not get the full amount but Trump Co is bankrupt, i think she is fine with that.

I get why they get a bad rep because so often, when the parents die, the kids show expecting to inherit a home with little to no mortgage and they are counting on that money. The parents did not tell them, they had been using a reverse mortgage for over a decade and there is no equity left. So the kids feel they were robbed and their parents taken of advantage of, when they were not.
