I'm not ignorant of the events on Jan 6, instead I'm just not particularly interested in or see some great significance to them. It's like I stated in another thread:

When the Left says or does something, it only counts while they are saying or doing it. The instant that ends, it is no longer relevant to them.

When someone says or does something the Left disagrees with, it counts forever. There is no apologizing, taking it back, or anything like that. The Left holds it over them FOREVER.

Thus, the Left can riot from coast to coast for years, burn down whole city downtowns, cause billions in property damage, injure thousands, kill dozens, and the second those riots are over they no longer count in their eyes. A group of Trump supporters have a three-hour riot one time causing a tiny fraction of the damage the Left did, and it's all 'Spanish inquisition' for years to track down every last possible participant, bystander, or other targeted individual and crucify them.

That's not what happened, and you know it. Do you seriously believe that in the 15 minutes from the time #TRE45ON left the stage till they stormed the Capitol, they had time to run out and get zip ties, pepper spray, a scaffold and noose, guns, and other weapons? Really? Why would peaceful citizens need to bring stuff like that to a rally? And how did they make it through security? Answer: They likely did not; they waited outside the secure area for the signal.

Bullshit. Burning down police stations isn't a "civil rights protest." Trying to destroy a federal courthouse and kill everyone that works in it isn't a "civil rights protest." Setting up an area of a city and calling it a separate nation while placing armed guards around the perimeter of it isn't a "civil rights protest."

You are just demonstrating what I wrote earlier. The second after the Left says or does something, it no longer counts.

I am all for arresting those who broke the law in those protests. I've never said otherwise. But I'm also for bringing all those on Jan 6 to justice as well. Are you?

So long as the charges and sentences are appropriate. But we don't have room for the literally thousands of radical leftists in our prisons that would be arrested and charged if that were true.
