Going by boat from Haiti to Florida is very difficult, because the Coast Guard is good at stopping them before they can apply for asylum. People who apply for asylum do not want to be on either the Keys, or Martha's Vineyard, they want to be close to a Federal courthouse.
Florida is not attracting as many immigrants as you would think. The high levels of violent crime, and low social mobility are putting immigrants off of Florida.
Oddly enough, the vast majority of immigrants moving to northern cities are doing it without being forced.

I'd say they hit the panic button about 3 months ago.... and these days they're just sitting on it.... and they can't get up...They are getting desperate now. They see how things are going. Actually, I really don't have a problem with Melania and her family becoming Americans. I actually feel sorry for Melania and Barron now.
Melania is not as stupid as most people have previously thought, as she is actually a better business savvy person than even Mr. Money MAN himself- Donnie.
I just wanted to make the case that As Donnie has such a low regard for immigrants, I WOULD LIKE TO REMIND HIM AND HIS TRUMPTARDS, that he is married to one, and that her and her family circumvented normal immigration processes and was somehow swifted through the system to become Americans.
And I do not believe Melania and Barron will be living at MARRY-A-LARDO much longer. Trump is already about as Estranged to Barron as he can be, and Melania now has more personal money than Donald Trump has, and he will soon be coming after her money!
She had 23 million dollars of her own money when she married Trump- and it is believed to mostly all still be there. And she still has, at least, a couple of million dollars owed her as a part of her prenuptial agreement she has with Donnie- and that may not even be possible now. As the longer this thing stretches out in time, her chances of ever getting it, are beginning to look slimmer and slimmer. The money may not even be there now for this to ever happen- AS IT MAY BE TOO LATE NOW!
And as time is ticking away ever faster in Donnie's legal affairs, and he is coming closer to having to file a PERSONAL bankruptcy, she will not be willing to stick around and risk losing all of her personal money, that will certainly get hung up in Trump's impending and inevitable Bankruptcy- by law.
This story will break soon and become an even larger story than Princess Dianna's divorce.
The only reason why she is sticking around now, is she is not going to add to Donald Trump's troubles with a divorce during his campaign, that would surely hurt his chances in becoming president again- THAT SHE WANTS NO PART IN STICKING AROUND FOR- whether he wins or loses.
November comes- and she's a goner!
Trump will be headed to prison eventually, as by most legal experts in the business estimations, all of his appeals will come to a end, in a very disappointing end for him, and he will be headed to FEDERAL prison for the rest of his worthless life, before the ball drops on New Years Eve 2026. Bankrupt, divorced, humiliated, and totally rejected by THE PEOPLE!
