Why America is a “flawed democracy”

Surveys show that Americans’ trust in their system of government is hitting new lows. A democracy index created by EIU, our sister company, demoted America from a “full democracy” to a “flawed” one in 2016. It has kept that status ever since. America was once seen around the world as a standard-bearer for democracy. What went wrong?

It is America’s political culture and the functioning of its government that pose the biggest problems. Within the culture category, America scores poorly on political polarisation and general support for democracy. A recent survey by Pew, a pollster, found that more than a quarter of Americans think that an autocracy—in which a leader can bypass Congress and the courts—would be a somewhat or very good form of government.

There is no democracy in America.
A democracy is not an index.
A democracy has no representatives.

It is DEMOCRATS that deny and discard the Constitution and all State constitutions.

Be honest, when Trump said he “loves the poorly educated”, you immediately said to yourself, “YES! Finally! He’s my guy!”, right?

What a bunch of balderdash. I do not trust any research/article about the US that is written/published by foreigners. As soon as I saw “polarisation” I was skeptical.

Oh my, we got demoted from a “full democracy” to a “flawed democracy” by some research company based in the UK.

Irony of two politically biased parties that have no desire to follow the tenets of freedom as put forth by the Constitution, but instead want forced compliance to their way of thinking that has nothing to do with freedom or the Constitution.

There is no democracy.
No research has anything to do with it.

In 2024 America is not remotely democratic....the overlords make it very clear that they dont give a flying fuck about what the people want/need/say.
