Yep.

Dow is at an all time high. Both my pension and 401ks are doing well. That also goes for working class folks who also have both.
Wages are outpacing inflation.
Unemployment is exceptionally low
The US economy is in considerably better shape than the rest of the world.

Now, back to your bogus list. Chocolate, candy, cakes and cupcakes are staples?
