Gibbs Scrawls Grocery List on Hand in Jab at Palin

Plus if you watch the whole speech she can clearly be seen GLANCING AT HER NOTES ON THE PODIUM.

If you watch her walking to the podium at the beginning of her speech you can see her putting her prepared remarks on it. Whether she had papers with her on the podium isn't even debatable.

The thing that blows my mind is that she had to write her top three policy goals on her hand to remember them. And people actually take her seriously.

What's funny is that when you've been confronted with points that you can't refute you just ignore them then repeat the same conversation with a fellow liberal. :)

The thing that blows my mind is the sheer number of petty conservaturds we have on these board who refuse under any circumstances to admit they are wrong about this.

She wanted to say Budget cuts, but her overseers told her no, we say tax cuts instead, because everyone if for tax cuts and noone is for budget cuts!

What "can't refute"?

We've shown CLEARLY that Palin brought WRITTEN NOTES with her to the podium for her speech.

We've shown CLEARLY that Palin USED THOSE SELF SAME NOTES during her speech.

We've ALSO shown CLEARLY that the words on her hand were a response to a question asked by an attendee at a Q&A which FOLLOWED HER SPEECH.

All you've got are your weak "but that's not what I saw" comebacks.

Except of course she said and meant to say "budget cuts", which is what we conservatives have been insisting on forever. :)

And all "WE" see is this coming from you. Your point?

That video, now repeated under at least two threads, doesn't document what you claim. Palin said that budgets had to be reduced and why, then she looked down at her hand. As I said before, as a Conservative I think that budget reduction should be the top priority; obviously she thinks the same. :)

Damo:

Do you still pretend that the things written on her hand were not her response to the question regarding her top three things that need to be done once conservatives take back Congress?

It absolutely does document what I and topspin and Jarod and a half a dozen others have all pointed out.

She looked down at her hand after mentioning budgets because she couldn't remember what was supposed to come after "budget" in her answer.

Actually, it shows that she mentioned her first priority, which is budget cuts. After that it's your conjecture. You have no idea what the woman is thinking. :)
