You do realize that Cali has the most diverse climate of any state, right? There is the Northern part, which is essentially part of the Pacific Northwest. There are mountains, desert, the central coast, and the Southern part, which is all vastly different! I have personally never been south of San Francisco.

Its too hot and dry in the summer for most of the Californica, plus they don't have the plant and animal diversity we have- not even close. They don't even have enough water to support their population. Go to western Arizona and you'll see trash blowing in over the desert from Californica.
