Republican Jim Bunning stops some overspending

Two dumb neocons, jacking in a corner...

When I assumed that the government actually tried to facilitate the growth of all sectors of society with reasonable trade policy, a lavish government safety net is not necessary. But when our government is hostile to the working class, and is selling jobs overseas to consolidate foreign alliance to create a new world order and destroy america, a social safety net will seem like a good thing to a lot of people who have nothing else.

This country will implode from protectionism/racism, importing shitty manufacturing jobs, and exporting high tech and services jobs.

Our high tech jobs were taken from us through lies and manipulation.

Since computers will be so key in destroying america and maintaining the control grid, americans are not wanted in these jobs. It's a conflict of interest.

Regarding trade, the only thing you and I will agree on is this: Bush placed way to much emphasis on bulstering trade at the expense of all other sectors. When he began to drive the devaluation of the dollar to stimulate a growth in trade, I was thoroughly unimpressed. The dollar sank below the Canadian Dollar, but has since gone back up and crawled closer to the Euro.

How about comprehending how a lopsided trade policy only sucks all wealth from a society over time? can you try that, stupid ass. Just try to comprehend it.

Dumbass, what Bush was trying to do was increase exports, which he did, but he also drove the purchasing power of our beloved dollar down in the process. He actually accomplished something you, yourself would see as marginal improvement. He just did it my manipulating fiat currency, which we know where you stand on that.

Dyke, Im not talking about bush, im talking about the massive trade imbalance which exists, which is harmful but which neocons insist is a good thing because of "comparative advantage", or some other gay shit like that.

LOLZ Do you even give a shit that you have no clue what your talking about?!?

Want to fix our trade imbalance? Cut all trade with china until their concept of human rights is something approaching human. It worked for South Africa, it can work on china, plus we get the added benefit of employed americans.

Embargo China Now.

Regarding China, there are some up-and-coming economies in South America (Brazil, Chile) that may be able to replace it as a source of massive trade (the way China did to Taiwan at the beginning of the last decade) in the future, but we're not there yet. There is simply no way to compare the economy of South Africa to that of China.

What? Dink. He said that the nation will collapse because we are exporting jobs and I agreed. It's dumb to export jobs.

It will beat the Euro once they shore up Greece and other nations about to collapse through inflation. On a side note, Japan is in worse shape than Greece. It may be wise to watch investments there, if you happen to have any.

Cutting trade to China without reason would make us seem like the bad guys since everyone in the world would think it was just unprovoked bullying. We'd get nowhere.

Bill Clinton and Newt Gingrich had a lot in common. And by today's standard, Newt Gingrich was a very moderate Republican. I don't think any split government is going to work for any amount of time in the current environment.
This is another one of your moments where you don't know something and pass it off like you do. Gingrich was a rock solid rightwing conservative, regularly scoring perfect 100's on his voting record from the ACU:

He was not moderate and America was a lot better off in the 90's for that.

You wanna build plastic lollypops and other assorted junk in this country? Good luck with that...
Dude, when you call tech support to get help with your computer there is a reason that they almost always speak with an Indian accent and it isn't because we're hiring people to do the work. Even service sector jobs are being shipped overseas.

Sorry, I think I meant that to be a response to Asshate, as it makes no sense as a response to what I have you quoted as saying...
