Democrat Toe Tapper

He lost reelection, so I was wrong he is no longer a senator.

So his fellow "family values" conservatives didn't kick him to the curb?

They just ignored the problem until the voters gave him the boot.

Yeah,,,they really "threw him under the bus".

You hear about these bathroom sex stings sometimes...

Has anyone ever walked into a public restroom to discover sex going on?

LOL. Just amusing.

He lost all support of the party, he didn't run in 2008 because the Lt. Gov was going to run against him in a Primary with the support of the party. His seat is currently filled by that same Lt. Gov, now Senator from Idaho, Jim Risch (R).

While I wish the Rs would quit zeroing in on silliness like homosexuality, the fact that this man refused to resign when asked doesn't mean he had any support from the party.

BIG surprise...he was just another "do as I say and not as I do" conservative.

He expects everyone of us mere mortals to live by Christian guidelines he espouses but that he himself wouldn't follow...and when he got busted, his party didn't even have the fortitude to "throw him under the bus".

I have never walked into this, and Ive never heard of anyone walking into this, the only time I hear about it is when the cops do a sting.

Is it really a problem that the cops need to be worrying about?

Translation:

Southern Man was right, in order to save face I'll just pretend that I wasn't just saying that the party supported him and spin it some other way so I can justify my belief that everybody who disagrees with me is "evil" in some way.

The party asked him to leave, he announced he would resign then without logical explanation decided not to resign. He had lost support of the party and knew it so didn't run in 2008 because he knew he would lose in that primary without the party to back him... Flat out you are wrong about the party. Again. It's like you don't even read the papers.

This is an aspect about the republican party that I dislike, but the reality is they stood exactly where you would expect them to, against Craig.

Quite right, IMO. You know I think there are quite a few of these politicians who siezed on the 'Christian values' thing, realizing it would get them elected in many parts of the country. The problem was, they could talk the talk but hadn't been walking the walk. When that happens they are sure to be found out. Let me interject a Bible verse here:

"...you have sinned against the LORD...and you may be sure that your sin will find you out." - Numbers 32:23

The point is they can't hide it. They might hide it well enough to get elected but they can't hide it forever. Now I know the verse I put there is about hiding things from God but whatever....I think it is hard to hide things from the public when you are an elected official. Just look at how many have been "outed" having this same "do as I say, not as I do" mentality because they "used" the Christian values thing to get elected.

My question, how is a mere mortal to tell the difference?

I think people who condem people and try to deny rights because of someone being different and then prove to be just like the people they condem are evil.

Whatever...once again you go right to changing what I wrote in order to make your point...bigtime FAIL.

Read below, junior:

I was mistaken...a pity you haven't the backbone to make the same admission.

"Threw him under the bus..."

Yeah, they threw him so FAR under the bus the VOTERS had to vote him out because the "family values" party couldn't bring themselves to oust an adulterer from their midst.

Of course these days the Republican party is becoming the party of hypocritical adulterers...

The Senator Ensign from Nevada...when's the party going to throw him under the bus?

What about Gov Mark Sanford?

A lying adulterer who won't resign who feels he's qualified to lecture others about morality.

So you condemning the tea baggers because you don't approve of what they are protesting.....

I thought the origional toe tapper was still in the Sennate....

At least this Democratic Congressman was not on record attacking Homosexuals.

I belive toe tapper is still in the Sennate.

Just like the original toe-tapper? is he gone yet?

So he was NOT thrown under the bus...if fact...HE'S STILL A SENATOR!

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight...they supported him enough so that he didn't give up his Senate seat...he's still a sitting SENATOR.

If you all mean the Republican toe-tapper...hes was gone in 2008

If you mean the democratic toe-tapper...Barney Frank..hes still getting re-elected...
