Milton may hit Florida as a Category 5. That is going to hurt. I hope people evacuate and don't try to ride this one out. Do we have any JPPers that live in the potential path of Milton?

Fake news. All the MAGAts should plan on riding it out on the beach. :thup:

All MAGAts know all the government so-called "experts" are always wrong. They need to stay in their trailer homes and make sure no liberal looters try to steal their grills and lawn furniture.

It will be a 4. My family in Tampa is all arriving here today. We had MAGA in our family, but three of them died, and one was divorced out.

The house of one of the dead ones was destroyed by Helene, his trumpper son is living in a hotel riding out this storm.

Not to pry, but what did they die from? Understandable about divorcing out all the MAGAts.

Alcoholism is a mental disease and our nation sorely needs better mental healthcare.

Were the flu and COVID victims vaxxed or vocal anti-vaxxers? At 80, I can see why flu might kill him, vaxxed or not.

No. It's one reason why I'm against mandatory evacuation orders. Government should inform, but not force people out of their homes.

This serves two purposes; limits the powers of government where a citizen's home is concerned and allows evolution to proceed naturally by weeding out the stupid.

Besides, this is a golden chance to provide more candidates for the 2024 Darwin Awards. :thup:

What is the difference between a mandatory evacuation order for Florida residents to leave their own homes and a state order that people in restaurants wear masks during a pandemic?

Short answer: When it's a Red State, it's okay. When it's a Blue State, it's not.

MAGAts are selective in which science they choose to accept and which they do not. Their choices are mainly religiously and politically based.

In this case, a Red State with a Red Govenor is giving the orders so all MAGAts click their heels and follow zee orders.
