After former President Donald Trump delivered a huffy, visibly emotional debate performance Tuesday night, many viewers hopped online to make the same joke: “Perhaps men are too emotional to be president.”

After decades of hearing that female candidates were too emotionally unstable for the top job, the joke was too good to pass up, given how the night panned out: It was the woman on stage, Vice President Kamala Harris, who came across as cool, calm and collected (albeit characteristically prone to laughing).



 
Almost all of the posters who rage-quit this board and posted a bitter, grievance-filled :cuss: farewell post were males.

The females who quit the board largely seem to have just quietly faded away.

how do you know they are males or females? how do you even know they left and didn't just change names?

I joined here in 2006, and typically had good information about the gender a poster identified with. Almost all of this board infamous (and usually hilarious) flounces were by angry men.

with the sock puppets and the level of trolling, I again question how you know what gender people are and if they actually rage quit vs just changed names
