I get it. You weren't raised by the kind of gun owners I was raised by. My dad was a lifelong hunter and treated guns with ridiculous levels of respect. He instilled in me that THIS IS NOT A TOY.

Today most of the gun enthusiasts screaming about the second amendment don't necessarily understand the difference and the fetishize it.

Well, how do YOU explain the fact that America has the most gun ownership of any developed nation on earth and also the highest rate of gun homicides and gun suicides of any developed nation?

Were people back in the 60's just a different species from us today?

America has more firearms because America has more money because America has the best economy, so Americans have more guns than anyone, although if guns were legal in China, they'd probably have more.

America has more baseballs than any other country, and America has more cars than any other country save China, because cars are legal there and they have 1.7 billion people compared to the US 350 million.
