Hezbollah has decentralized their operations to avoid Israeli air strikes taking them out because of the use of communications devices to coordinate what they're doing. That means they're operating in penny packets of like one to two-dozen combatants uncoordinated with any other such groups.
While this allows each group to avoid air strikes and PGM attacks from stuff like artillery or indirect fire systems, it also means they end up wiped out once they're in contact with IDF forces.

As for the Israelis, such resistance means they're going slower and being more careful.

The results I've seen is that the casualty ratio is roughly between 10 and 20 to one. That is for every Israeli soldier killed or wounded, Hezbollah is losing 10 to 20 of their combatants. That's consistent across most media. I've seen little to nothing to indicate that the Israelis are taking any sort of heavy losses in equipment either. To date, the numbers I've seen say about 20 Israeli soldiers have been killed and somewhere around 1,000 Hezbollah and related groups KIA--by each side's own estimates. I would say that's pretty consistent with other quasi-Arab military forces in the region on casualties.

The most common Hezbollah counter fire is unguided rockets launched into Israel with minimal effect. Yes, they do occasionally hit something at a rate of say about maybe 2 to 5% of those launched, but even then, the ones that do impact intact are hitting totally random targets of no value almost every time.

On the whole, Hezbollah's tactics of decentralized resistance are a plus as well as a minus.
