Here's what we see from the Left: the candidate for MAGA constantly refers to other Americans as "the enemy within", he constantly passes off lies meant to demonize poor brown people like the Haitians (who are here LEGALLY) and we hear him constantly make up denigrating and nasty nicknames for other people. He uses language that is extremely strong and extremely unpleasant. He leverages language that can ONLY be described as reminiscent of Naziism ("poisoning the blood").

It's what you guys call "keeping it real" or "speaking his mind" or "telling it like it is", but honestly you can't say that there's ever been someone on the national stage that talks like him in the US. Even Nixon, a truly appalling piece of work as a human, kept his shit talking behind closed doors. LBJ, a complete bastard by most accounts, kept his talk moderated when speaking to the entire country.

So that's probably why the Left has a dim view of Trump.
