You know how the Left loves their suffocating taxes. You know how the Left absolutely HATES the US. How would the Left react to the news that Donald Trump was pushing to eliminate the income tax?

I was wondering why the left was bitching and moaning and whining and sniveling and generally becoming totally unhinged over the word "tariffs." It turns out that the Left understands just how beneficial properly implemented tariffs can be, i.e. dump massive wealth on the US, more than enough to cover the elimination of income taxes while making America really great again. The Left would find that insufferable. There would be happiness and the achievement of the American dream ... and that would be totally unacceptable.

Actually for a long time it was the left and unions who were for tariffs and the right against them.

People on the right didn’t support them until Trump. People on the left don’t like them when Trump uses them but went radio silent when Biden kept them and added additional ones because ideologically they tend not to be against them.
