Exit polling of early voters is what anyone should be looking at now.
Do they do that? I know in some cases you can see party registration, but Ive never heard of exit polling them.
what percent of these early voting #'s are in person?

I am skeptical of the value of exit polling this subset of the whole. If they had years of experience doing so, we might be able to gleam some insight - but it is too new.
I think some GOP enthusiasts are reading too much into their increased turnout - they seem to ignore how in 2020 they were discouraged from doing so and now they are encouraged to do so.

The polls being even is a big advantage for Republicans - but Democrats have a much better ground game.
