Count & report heavy Dem areas first

It's obvious MAGA doesn't understand how elections & vote counts work, and how leads can shift over the course of the evening. They firmly believe that once Trump takes a lead, he won.

Simple solution: count & report the heaviest Dem areas first, so Kamala takes a huge lead. Even if she loses, it's fine - it will turn out the same in the end. But if Trump takes any kind of lead early, it's going to be all of the cloak & dagger/shipping ballots in during the dark of the night conspiracy stuff from MAGA.

We have to adjust how we do things to cater to their myopic understanding of how things work.

Or...states simply cannot allow trump to alter their methods. He'll be gone soon enough. Even if Harris takes an early lead in the count, the trump campaign will concoct other lies.

No doubt, millions of undocumented immigrants are voting.

Failing that, they can simply claim that the Haitians are eating the Republican ballots.

There are no surprises. Stop drunk posting. Election night always has an analyst showing which precincts are still waiting to report. Said areas are fairly predictable based on registered voters.

trump knew he lost. That's why he declared victory around 11 o'clock and demanded that the counts be stopped!

Could you imagine stopping the Super Bowl with 8 minutes left in the game?

There is no reason these places can’t get it done. Make it so every ballot has to be counted by 11:59 pm locak time. No exceptions.

Counting ballots in Dem areas first is okay with me but NO results should be released until EVERY STATE is done voting including HI and Alaska.
I would not want the results in say CONN, to influence voters in HI or Alaska.

So IF we have slow poll workers counting ballots at a right leaning polling place you will cry they didn't have enough time but if it is a left leaning polling place it will okay with you?
NO why don't we do this COUNT ALL ballots and do NOT release any and I mean any results until NOON the next day .
And IF it takes states like PA that are not suppose to start counting mail in ballots until AFTER the polls close days so be it COUNT EVERY BALLOT.
Stopping counting ballots in states like PA at 11.59 would only leave millions of mail in ballots uncounted.
If they have to hand count ballots so be it let it take days or even a week or two COUNT EVERY BALLOT.

The simple solution would be to not release any results until they are final.
 
It would be best if Democrat areas reported voting in smaller blocks of say 5% of the expected vote, or the vote as counted every one or two hours, rather than holding it until close to 100% counted. That'd be enough to quell most concerns I'd think.

What about ones with questionable signatures or other verification? Should ones mailed late (past the time and date for mail in) count? How do you propose to deal with ones that are mismarked making portions of the vote on them invalid (such as say voting for too many candidates).

First of all READ what I posted.
IF there is a legal US post office stamp on it of 11.59 PM it should be counted, IF there are questions on it being fraudulent then check it out if it takes a day or two and it is okay then it should be counted.
well we have rules already in place to handle mismarked ballots.
In fact it wouldn't bother me IF they find a mismarked ballot it they got a hold of that person and had them come in and look at it and make sure it was theirs and if it is let them fix their mistakes.
what is the big deal?
a few ballots that are ever questioned more then likely won't make any difference , we will be almost sure of who won by the next morning any ways.
ALL legal ballots should be counted.

Don’t give a shit. If India can count 400 million there is no reason we can’t. This has never been a problem in the past.
