Migrant with loaded AR-15, suspected Mexican cartel member freed from jail after alleged assault on NYPD cops​


An illegal immigrant armed with a loaded AR-15 assault rifle and his Mexican cartel pal are both back on the streets — despite allegedly ganging up on NYPD cops at a Bronx subway station.

Abraham Sosa, 20, a illegal immigrant living above a Bronx day care center, was hit with assault, gun possession, resisting arrest and trespassing charges after being nabbed urinating in a subway tunnel on Nov. 5 — while lugging the assault weapon in his backpack, according to sources and records.

His pal, 21-year-old Christopher Mayren, allegedly jumped into the fray when Sosa got into a scuffle with New York’s Finest, leaving two cops injured, according to a criminal complaint.

Yet both thugs are free, Sosa after posting a $25,000 bond and Mayren released without bail.

A tattoo on Mayren’s arm links him to a vicious drug cartel.

Illegal Immigrant arrested in rape of 13-year-old in park near school​



A suspect has been arrested in connection with the rape of a 13-year-old girl in a Queens park last week, according to police.

Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi, a 25-year-old Ecuadorian who entered the U.S. illegally in June 2021, was picked up overnight after community members recognized him from a photo and video released by police, according to the New York Police Department.

Police said they restrained him, possibly with a belt, and roughed him up after he fought with his captors. He was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Inga-Landi waived his Miranda rights and told police he had a drug problem and had never done anything like this before, according to NYPD Chief of Detectives Joe Kenny.

He was previously arrested in Eagle Pass, Texas, for entering the country illegally.

He also had three summonses in New York City and a domestic violence encounter with police that did not result in arrest.

Inga-Lani has been charged with first-degree rape, first-degree sex abuse, first-degree robbery, first-degree menacing, second-degree kidnapping, first-degree unlawful imprisonment and other crimes.

A long-awaited trial in Minnesota is scheduled to begin Monday with jury selection for two men accused of helping smuggle people across the U.S.-Canada border, including four members of an Indian family who froze to death in Manitoba as they tried to make it across in blizzard conditions.

The court proceedings come nearly three years after the bodies of Jagdish Patel, 39, his wife, Vaishali, 37, their 11-year-old daughter, Vihangi, and their three-year-old son, Dharmik, were found on Jan. 19, 2022, in a snow-drifted field just 12 meters from the U.S. border.

Autopsies confirmed they all died due to hypothermia, American prosecutors said.

Harshkumar Patel, who prosecutors say had a number of aliases, including "Dirty Harry," is alleged to have hired and paid Shand to meet and transport the illegal immigrants once they crossed the border.

Illegal immigrant teens busted in heist of designer duds from NYC Macy’s store​



Two illegal immigrant teens were busted for swiping thousands of dollars in designer duds from a downtown Brooklyn Macy’s, law enforcement sources said.

Alan Bello, 18, and a 17-year-old boy whose name has not been released scooped up a stash of name-brand clothing during the heist at the Fulton Street department store, cops said.

They tried to leave with the stolen goods – worth about $2,421 – before a worker stopped them in their tracks, police and sources said.

They are known to be illegal immigrants, though their country of origin was not immediately known.

It was also unclear whether the pair had been previously arrested in the Big Apple.
