Now it begins.....

Shaken, not stirred!
Okay, the "Waterloo" that DeMint professed the GOP would turn Obama's healthcare reform into just royally backfired.

But nothing is more dangerous than a wounded animal:

So now all those little Bob Jones grads that the Shrub put into the Justice Dept., all those GOP elected State Attorney's, the lock stepped neocon GOP in the House and Senate and those 5 SCOTUS members that gave the Shrub his Presidency and then turned Corporations into individual people are going to be out for blood!

All this DESPITE that the final bill contained what, a mulitude of GOP inserts, and that it was APPROVED before all this hooha about the final vote. All this DESPITE that the insurance companies will be getting a slew of new customers.

Ahhh, the irrational hatred of Obama and the 2008 rejection of the PNAC agenda....it just never gets old.

Obama be duh man! :good4u:

...

I wonder why you support it.

Stop wondering.....I originally supported single payer option....when that was going over, the alternative was the public option.

Thanks to Dem sell outs, Obama wishy washy-ness and the Party of No (aka the neocon driven GOP) what we've got now is essentially a weak compromise with the health insurance companies...the people get some decent perks and compensations to which the insurance companies are bitching about...and the GOP is just plain mad because Obama beat them out on a much publicized "Waterloo" that backfired on them big time!

Like I said, this deal is Swiss cheese, but given the players it's better than nothing, I guess. And it leaves the door open for changes down the road! But the current version of the GOP DOES NOT like to lose, and the insurance companies do not like to lose project profits. And given the level of dis-information that has riled up the teabaggers, birthers, and general low-information anti-gov't/Obama folk, things are going to get interesting in the next 3 years!

There you have it folks....the best the intellectually bankrupt neocon parrot has to offer in terms of rational discussion. Small wonder the dumb bastards kiss the asses of those who are screwing them over.

I find it incredibly ironic that you are constantly accusing me of doing exactly what you do. Here you are kissing the asses of former slavers, eugenicists and segregationists.

Who am I supporting that is "screwing me over", Libbie?

Like I have been saying for years now, They catn win with them and they cant win without them.

This tea party faction is death to teh reublican party.

They courted them and mobolized them in a effort to garner enough votes to get close enough to cheat and win in an election.

Lets remember the Felons list in Florida for 2000 and then the electronic machines there after.

It worked and so did the politicalization of the DOJ which helped them distroy ACORN on false charges.

Now what are they left with?

The voters they courted over their time in the sun.

These voters now OWN the republican party.

They spit on the Friends of Martin Luther King.

They make cute little racist signs.

The scream things like nigger, ag and baby killer to drive home their point.

They dont like facts or proof and perfer a lie whenever possdible.

There is one big problem though, they drive other voters AWAY from the party and will treat any R who sways from their factless positions just like oposition.

The republican candidate is shackled by them and to please them they have to alienate any rational voters.

The tea party is now the master of the republican party.

Not the original tea party that is the party of "fiscal responsibility" but the one that has swallowed whole that group.

Like I tried to tell you a couple of years ago you can not win with them and you can not win without them.

The ONLY sane and adult way forward is to DUMP these clowns hard and fast.

Set them afloat before their insane ideas come home to taint yuou even futher.

They are going to HURT someone soon and the blood will be all over you who coddle the insane.

If you wnat to see the republican party survive you better cut your losses and stand up like Human Beings and DENOUNCE this racism and insane hate in the harshest terms and tell them you refuse to asociate with them in any manner.

Yeah you wnt win any elections for awhile but I got news for you , you will not win any elections of note WITH them.

They will react in more and more violent ways because they can not come to grip with facts and prefer lies to reason.

You cant win with them and you cnat win without them so for gods sake do the wise and decent thing for this country and QUIT whipping them into a frenzy.

No More Murrah Building PLEASE!

Im still wondering. It's a gift for the insurance companies and big pharma, and has no public option. And you wanted it so bad.

Nothing is better than this. The door to making new laws is always open, you don't need to pass a shitty law then fix it. You suck at thinking.

You can try to diminish this achievement but you will in the end realize just what was done here.

Its historic and was JUST enough to pass the framework for the rest of the plan.

When it sinks in on Americans just how much this framework helps them they will be cheering the fleash that is applied to the bones.

Right. Because now they're too stupid and are overwhelmingly against it, but they will be reeducated right?

Your elitism and totalitarianism disgust me.

You being so smart and all, knowing what we unwashed idiots want, how is it just to ignore the Constitution and the will of the People?

Okay, besides your obvious dislike for me your statements are just not rational. I acknowledged previously that the insurance companies are making out on this deal...and I'm not happy about that. BUT, the stipulations that come with their "gifts" are things THEY DID NOT WANT TO HAPPEN...examples not being able to drop paying customers because they're actually sick, the elimination of the "pre-existing condition" roadblock to obtaining insurance....keeping kids on parents insurance until 26, closing the "doughnut hole" for medicare drug beneficiaries.

And your statement about the door always being open for new laws is correct...but you overlook the FACT that it is easier to make changes to laws that already exists as opposed to trying the create new ones...as the history of failed attempts in healthcare reform shows.
