You're evading the question. This is about the House Republicans Judiciary and Oversight committees and holding HB in contempt of congress. The DOJ investigation had nothing to do with this.

No, I'm not stupid. There are two separate lines of thought here. One was the DOJ prosecuting HB for federal crimes. The other was the House Republicans Judiciary Committee using HB in their effort to impeach Joe Biden. I'm focusing on the second because it was a fishing expedition.
