Democrat Stimulus is looking like an excuse for pork

Take a look at these numbers, Dem districts received on average almost TWICE as much as Repub districts:

Obviously this was not done for economic stimulus which would have of course been much more even, but really an excuse to funnel more of our taxes to Dem districts.

It's perfectly understandable why more money is going to Democratic districts. Isn't the general Republican philosophy "No government help/interference/handouts"?

Probably because repubs didn't apply for the funds since they were mostly against the act.

Maybe we should hone in on these hypocrites instead.

These are the same lawmakers who voted against the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act but now demanded a slice of the pie. Louise Radnofsky, writing in The Wall Street Journal, states that the Democrats are upset with those Republicans who criticized the “$787 billion economic-stimulus plan” and “then lobbied to get money for their districts.”
