Buchanan let the civil war occur. Carter was just the worst post WW 2 president until Biden took office. Thus, Biden is worse than Carter but not as bad as Buchanan.

FDR packed the court in the sense that he had Democrats in Congress that okey doaked his choices without question meaning that the Justices went along with virtually everything he did while having selected all of the sitting Justices. Justices that were neither activists nor yes men wouldn't have allowed the New Deal, as the Justices did when FDR first took office. So much for separation of powers...

My understanding of history is however, correct when you carefully consider the subject and facts.
 
His Presidency will look better as time goes on. He won't go down as one of the greats - but he ended a war, 16 million jobs were added, and the market broke records.

I hope not, but I have a hunch that there will be some nostalgia about that in the coming years.

The Chips Act has done little to nothing of what it was proposed for and supposed to do. It'll be a forgotten piece of mediocre legislation in a decade.

Chinese Disease was on the wind down when Biden took office. After doing so, he did nothing useful towards ending it and even got smacked down hard for trying to make vaccines and mask wearing mandatory nationwide.

Infrastructure? What infrastructure has been created by it? It did, in part, raise inflation to nearly double digits however. Low unemployment? Only if you look at the U30 in isolation. Biden's time also saw the lowest employment rate and a low labor utilization rate while in office. That is, more people gave up looking for jobs or found alternatives like going on unemployment or welfare to working. So, low unemployment is really just smoke and mirrors if you dig below the superficial numbers the U30 gives.

"Calling out danger of Trump's fascism?" Biden wanted to create a "Disinformation Governance Board" staffed entirely by radical Leftists to, for all intents, end free speech by declaring anything they disagreed with "disinformation." Biden wanted to impose vaccine and mask mandates that would see people who refused, fired, unable to travel, or even go in public. Biden also has pushed regulations to force you to buy an EV in the near future with no other choices, told you what kind of stove, water heater, etc., you can buy and own with no alternatives, among other fascist regulations.

All that was actual, not some fantasy based on bullshit like, at this point, calling Trump a fascist.
