How in your warped brain does that make any sense at all? Garland was so cautious that he let Trump get away with treason. He is not a "radical Leftist". He would have been an independent Supreme Court justice.

Garland isn't a complete fool. Trying to charge Trump with treason would have been disastrous to the Biden administration not only in terms of the legal aspect(s) of it, but in terms of damage done to it. Garland and whoever was pulling the strings in the Biden administration certainly are radical Leftists. They toned down the insanity several notches because they knew going full tilt wasn't going to work. Even so, Biden's popularity tanked big time because of it.
