They have been pardoned. May not make them innocent but darn sure makes them free to go. Hopefully the federal marshalls don't have to arrest the jailers or worse yet shoot them. Follow the law and release the pardoned without incident,...That is the best way forward. The DC jailers cant win this.
Throw the jailer in jail if they refuse to release pardoned prisoners.
Pardoned = innocent in the eyes of the law.

Now the Neo-Nazis are quoting from the Big Ass Newspaper of Things That Never Happened. It is not how government, or the world works.
First off, the federal government has no prisons in DC. DC real estate is expensive, and the federal government has no legal impediment to moving prisoners over state lines(unlike the states). To save money, there are no federal prisons in DC.
The way you release someone from prison is by getting a court order. First the pardon comes down, and then because there is nothing left to hold them in prison, a court order to release them is given. The court order is taking longer, because it is a huge number of people, and because what they have been pardoned for is a bit vague. The solution to that is found in court, not in a prison break using US Marshals.
Most importantly, it did not happen.
It actually is not. Holding people in jail(or prison) without a court order is kidnapping. Guards do not have to evaluate whether a prisoner is innocent.
It did not happen, so the US Marshals did not do anything.
Let's take a typical drug dealing alt right terrorist. He was pardoned for his involvement in the January 6th terrorist attack. Does that mean that he was also pardoned for the drug crimes he committed? Were they part of the attack, or unrelated?
That is for a court to decide. Prison guards are not supposed to make those decisions.
No, it means our government has decided to show forgiveness for the crime. Accepting the pardon technically is the same as a no contest to guilt.

Wouldn't be the first time.
Picture someone gets arrested. It turns out they were innocent, and the court is going to free them later in the day. You break them out of prison, before the court ruling releasing them.
That is called a jail break, and it is a crime. If the prisoner consents to be broken out, then whatever he was guilty or innocent of before, he is guilty of a crime now.
The US Marshals know this, which is why they did not break people out of prison.

If someone gets a Presidential pardon, they are released from prison or jail immediately. There is no court decision involved. The courts get ZERO say in that. The person is released. The prison or jail staff have ZERO alternatives to releasing them.
In your world, US Marshals have attacked US Federal Prisons before to break prisoners out?

Before the DC jail system was taken over by the federal government, it was notorious for its corruption and incompetence. Some of that obviously is still there.
