Thing is that everyone has the right to their own beliefs under the constitution. Even those who preach something as hateful as white power. But that doesn't mean that they have the right to act on it.

What do KKK, Confiderate Flag Flyers, Neo Natzi Groups, Skinheads, all have in common...

They support Conservative canidates, mostly Republicans.

Only if you think its the Governments place to regulate Morality. I guess Toppy thinks that's OK and takes back his stance that Pot should be legal as regulating Moraliy is a good thing to do now. Inconsistant shitheads like that are why weed is still illegal.

Actually dorko the only skinhead and definite racist to come on a political site was skinhead and he voted democrat because they support abortion.

And by the way it's Nazty, not Natzi, like this

I spell my way, thanks.
Whoosh over the head.

So, universally its the other way, Authoritarians support conservatives.
In some countries you have a point, certainly not in America. The number one thing Conservatives are doing right now is fighting against bigger government either in healthcare, the environment and education - exactly the opposite of what an authoritarian would do.

I dont think so, because I see the FEDERAL government as protecting us from Authoritarians, see the civil rights movement. The Federal Government is often who steps in when States and Corporations try to impose a tyrany against a minority.

Kindly explain how a corporation imposes anything? We'll use the largest corporation of all: Walmart. Explain how they force people to buy anything or work for them?
They have no power to force you to do anything, just like any other corporation. It is only through government that force exists.

"Government is not reason; it is not eloquence; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." – George Washington
"Government, in it's last analysis, is organized force." – Woodrow Wilson
"The common denominator in all government activity is the use of force: Government either forces you to do things, forces you not to do things, or forces you to pay for things." – Doug Newman

As for civil rights, did you know that more Repubs in congress voted for it than did Democrats?
In fact Repubs opposed slavery, voted more for civil rights and oppose affirmative action. They have thus by their actions (not perception, but actions which is what really counts) been more consistently for legal equality.

No banning just an outing of the true views and intentions of the idiots who think its a harmless heritage thing.

I would not be proud of a family crest that the rest of the world equated with a swasticha.

The fact that the people who are proud of this flag IGNORE and INSULT people who hate what this flag stood for is more evidence they dont see other human beings as important.

Abortion is another case where the Fed has protected us from the overeaching and authoritarian laws many States would have implimented.

Yes, there has been a shift in the Democratic and Republican parties on Race issues. Check out how the people Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, et al, have voted in the past vs. now with regard to parties!

The Culture of these Sates has not changed so much, the parties did.

My Grandparents, from Montgomery, AL would have never considered voting for a "Republican carpetbagger", as they would have called them, but if you spoke with them they espoused very hard core conservative belifes, all of there group thats left are now Republicans. One was most reciently the Governor of Alabama.

Sure but the point remains that Repubs have consistently stood for equality, fighting harder for equality for blacks and today fighting harder for equality for whites. It is the Democrat party that has constantly tried to shape government policy to favor one race over the other.

So the point of your post is you come from a long of racists which you equate with very hard core conservative beliefs ?....interesting perspective.
