Cherry picking, not to mention a Godwin's Law violation.

Today... TODAY, not nearly a century ago... Virtually the entirety of Dar al Islam makes LGBTPDQRSTUV activity illegal up to making it a death sentence. For the rest of the world, most nations have no particular laws or restrictions on such things one way or the other but generally frown on it being done in public, as with sex related activities in general.

Because you cherry picked and started with Nazis. The UK / Great Britain's laws at the time were equally onerous, as was the case in many nations. But you chose to single out the Nazis as if they alone were doing this stuff.

I am pointing out the relevant, and similar, cases to your cherry picked one, that exist TODAY, not 75+ years ago.

Different cultures with long histories. The map should have helped you see that. The Nazi example with its liberal foreground in the Weimar Republic is germane.
