Another angry Trump voter

The size of government can not be reduced without reducing the size of government.

It is being reduced, as we speak.

This is what President Trump said he would do and ran on that policy and was elected.

End of story.

I prefer them to take any action, even if they have to pull some back, because if we delay even a moment I believe that it will never begin again. All it would take to ruin us is for the US Dollar to end its role as the world currency, that's the only thing keeping us afloat now.

I will give you that, there are some people that want it done slower, but again you don't go in with a bulldozer and take down a good section of the woods when a hand saw would have done the job and that is what they are doing.
Go in and FIND the waste and fraud FIRST then cut that out not cut, cut, cut and have to go back and have to fix the mess you made.

Wrong. RIFs (Reductions in Force) have been a part of government jobs for decades. My late brother worked for the Army Audit Agency as an accountant his entire career. They had at least three, that I can recall, RIFs during his 25 years with them before he passed. He was lucky to escape a total lay-off, but he did get transferred twice when his position at the existing office was eliminated. In his last years with the agency, he was a manager. Every year he (and the other managers) were told to justify both their dept. budget and the employees under them.
 
We were told many times during my 30 years with the FAA, that RIF’s were coming.

As a veteran, I had a 5 point advantage over those with no military service.

I do not remember one person losing their job, some were transferred but no loss of positions.

Our local news has reported Park Service layoffs at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. This beautiful place is not large like Yellowstone or Denali NP but still we get close to a million visitors per year. And every year, someone falls off a cliff or drowns in Superior or goes missing and needs to be found. What could go wrong with even fewer employees?

Elon found nothing. He is just slashing jobs happily and gleefully. He has the same respect for workers that Trump does...zero. Trump is trying to justify another huge tax cut for the super-wealthy. They never have enough. Our wealth gap is the worst it has ever been, and Trump will make it worse yet. He added more to the debt in 4 years than any other president ever. He is going to make that look small.

Musk isn't even focused on getting rid of the employees with subpar performance reports. He's getting rid of many probationary employees with outstanding performance records.

Ironically, many immigrants over the last two centuries came here because that was the situation in their homelands. America used to have the promise that if you worked hard, you too could rise. Maybe not to millionaire level but close. Our wealthy have purchased the politicians necessary to ensure their continued low rate of taxation and their exulted status in government.
