The press doesn’t typically cover cabinet meetings in real-time or with full access. In most democratic systems, like the U.S. or the UK, these meetings are held behind closed doors because they involve sensitive discussions—strategy, policy debates, or national security matters that aren’t meant for public play-by-play. The media might get briefed afterward through official statements, press releases, or leaks from insiders, but direct coverage? Rare.

For example, in the U.S., the Cabinet isn’t a formal body with mandated public exposure like Congress. The White House controls the narrative, usually via the press secretary or planned announcements. In the UK, cabinet minutes might get released years later under rules like the 30-year declassification law, but live reporting? Not a thing. Exceptions happen if something explosive leaks—like during Watergate or a major scandal—but that’s not the norm.

So, no, the press isn’t usually in the room or getting a front-row seat. They’re piecing it together after the fact.

Trump is a pussy. A coward.
They can watch it on the stream outside the whitehouse with the rest of the persona non gratis.

What the Whitehouse did is invite media that otherwise would have been left outside by the buddy system they used to grant access....

Interestingly, DC Judge rejected their bid to try to force the WH to let them in... I think they should cry some more about it, it's going to really work out well for them.

Most Americans hate you Republicans. You will never be forgiven.

Ask the Trump voters who just got fired.
They understand. If they know how to work they will find work soon. If they are useless then what can I say?

What part of a bloated government do you not understand? Of course there are going to be layoffs to get things under control.
