First of all, expect the pinhead Liberals to chortle and deny this, because it's like running a fork across their spinal column. A truth they can't hide from, no matter how much chortling they do, but they must keep up the appearance they aren't worried about this. Believe me, they are plenty worried.
From the outset, the Left has portrayed the Tea Party protesters in as negative light as possible. In the beginning, before they were known as the Tea Party, they were just concerned citizens showing up at town hall meetings, asking their congressmen if they had actually READ the health care bill! Even back then, the leftist media outlets classified them as "angry mobs" showing up at these town hall meetings. Along the way, they have tried to marginalize the group as "fringe extremists" and the subtle hints they might be racist, have given way to outright calling them racists, and worse!
Now they have kicked it into high gear, this week, starting the insinuating characterizations by linking them to Tim McVeigh and Oklahoma City. One pinhead even went so far as to compare the temperament being caused by these "teabaggers" as "similar to just before the Kennedy assassination." Think about that for a moment, the "talking heads" for the Dems are out there comparing the Tea Party Movement, or trying to connect and link it to, the two single worst domestically-caused tragedies in recent history. Events every American can relate to and recall the magnitude of. And this sort of thing is going to continue and escalate. I can't really imagine much worse, but pinheads around here are dropping the name "Hitler" a lot, when talking about Conservatives and Conservative values of the Right.
It's going to get worse. Now the group that has always been the problem, is the independents. Honestly, I don't understand how you can look at Socialism vs. Capitalism and find yourself in the middle. It is probably the most inane and stupid beliefs you could possibly have, and shows a complete lack of understanding of how each of the two work. They simply can't function together, one always kills and stifles the other. So trying to find a nice middle-of-the-road balance between them, is futile. We are either Capitalists or we are Socialists, and we really can't be both.
People will say, but what about the "socialist" Social Security and Medicaid? And here's the thing, that was probably where we made our biggest mistake. This socialist system was peddled to the people in the wake of the Great Depression, when emotionalism ran high regarding indigence and poverty, especially for the old, they were the ones who lived through literally eating dirt for a decade. People could relate, they could sympathize with the sadness of people who couldn't afford things, they had been there, and they were doing a little better now, so they felt compelled to help the poor and elderly. Yes, if we could only set up this "safety net" for the old and poor, people wouldn't ever have to dig through trashcans for food and such. That's how they sold it to us, on the heels of emotionalism following economic disaster. It was a Socialist system then, and it's still a Socialist system. And let's review how well it has performed... The combined programs have an unfunded liability in excess of $100 trillion. They are operating in the red, and will be untenable in the next 20 years. The Socialist system which was supposed to protect our elderly from living in poverty, and the poor to get proper medical care, has failed miserably in just 60 years. But I digress...
Much like Socialists have always done, they will continue to play on emotion. They will continue to attempt painting the Tea Party as something to be reviled and not associated with, unless you LIKE being called all these nasty awful names and likened to the worst people in history. This emotional strong-arming will continue, as they simultaneously play on your heartstrings with bleats of "unfairness" perpetrated on them, the victims, by the mean old right! Why do they do this? Because it works on the Moderate FOOLS every time! Going back to the days of FDR... through the days of LBJ... on to the days of Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton... They pull the same trick, and it seems to always work eventually, with Moderates. How many times they can use the same trick, I don't know... it's happened generation after generation, so maybe it's in the Moderate's genes?
For whatever reason, the Moderate (Independent) is always the one who changes his mind... well, okay, maybe they have a point about those "teabag" people? ...maybe this health care reform won't be so bad? Let's just all get along and put this behind us... I'll be "big" enough to step up and admit I was wrong, and we'll give this insanity a shot.... maybe it will be alright then, and we can have bipartisanship once more? This is always how they end up thinking, and eventually CAVING on whatever they are supporting. Socialist Liberals KNOW this, they are not stupid people! They know full well, the so-called "moderate" is nothing but a cream-puff, who will eventually fold to the emotional warfare, so that's what they are doing now.
The Tea Party is largely Conservative, and it does include a considerable portion of voters who identify as "independent" which is the same as "moderate" in my opinion. I'm sure some smart ass will chime in with the 'difference' but really... most people who have an independent view on the issues, is not extreme to either side, which means they are primarily moderate. If the Liberals can siphon off the "independent" voters, or a sizable majority of them, the Tea Party becomes more marginalized, and they can be more easily propagandized and destroyed in the media as such. So, this is the game plan, this is what they hope to accomplish and why.
We will continue to see thread after thread, dedicated to tarnishing the Tea Party in every way possible, and keep any focus on them, relegated to comparisons with evil, hate and horror. Moderates, you will notice they never discuss the issues raised by the Tea Party, they never want to debate that. It is all a ruse, don't fall for it again like you always do! Pay attention! They are scared shitless of the Tea Party movement, and they are fighting it the only way they know how. Hang on to your principles, it's going to be a bumpy ride!
