MEDICARE AND MEDICAID JUST GOT GUTTED

Medicaid is not getting cut, moron!
MAGA morons claim to hate the gigantic social welfare state, but then they always panic if anyone suggests they want to cut Medicare, Social Security, Disability Compensation, or Medicaid.

Want a party that will passionately defend Medicaid? VOTE REPUBLICAN!

House Passes Budget Resolution Cutting Billions From Medicaid Funding With nearly 80 million Americans covered by Medicaid and CHIP, this vote would affect almost a quarter of the US population if passed into law The US House of Representatives passed a budget resolution (H Con Res 14, 119th Congress) that includes deep cuts to Medicaid, advancing the Republican-led plan in a 217-215 vote Tuesday evening.1 The Senate will follow and Trump will approve it. Hospitals, nursing homes, and community health centers—many of which rely on Medicaid reimbursements—would also feel the impact. Cutting federal support could strain health care facilities that are already underfunded, particularly in rural areas,(( red neck and poor white trash cans and nigga areas...them fuckin Trump voters)) where hospital closures have outpaced new openings in recent years. Meanwhile, billionaires and millionaires are receiving more tax cuts. The pop corn just keeps a coming and I love it and its gonna effect me too and I love it!! What these minions fail to realize is that MOST AMERICANS WHO RELY ON MEDICAID....... WORK FOR A LIVING OR THEY HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS IN THE FAMILY THAT COULD DRAIN THEIR ALREADY STRAINED FINANCES!!

I remember seeing something on television when I was a kid...
Batista supporters being executed by firing squad after Castro took over Cuba.

The trumpanzees and pig fuckers in office right now very much need to be executed on television as well.
Then there would finally be something worth watching.

Although I haven't fired them in decades, I own nine firearms.
Even though they're worth thousands, I would happily donate them to the execution effort.

Remember when the Republican party used to care about deficit borrowing and the debt?

Johnson open to zeroing out the cost of extending Trump's tax cuts
The cost of paying for the extension has been a major hangup in the House, with deficit hawks insisting the cuts be offset.

Speaker Mike Johnson said Wednesday that an accounting method that would make tax cut extensions appear to cost nothing “makes good logical sense,” which could remove a major obstacle in the House to making the cuts permanent as President Donald Trump wants.

“It’s a really important principle, and I hope that we can employ that because it makes a big difference in the [cost] calculations," Johnson told reporters.

“The Senate wants it. I think the House wants it as well,” he said, though he may struggle to convince deficit hardliners.

The budget that House Republicans approved on Tuesday makes room for $4.5 trillion in tax cuts. Ways and Means Chair Jason Smith (R-Mo.) has said that's not enough to accommodate a permanent extension of Trump's 2017 tax cuts — set to expire at the end of the year — and other proposals the president has put on the table, like ending federal taxes on tips and overtime pay.

Senate Republicans want to simply declare that extending the tax cuts would cost nothing since they'd just be a continuation of what's already in law, known as a "current policy baseline" in budget jargon.

Johnson moved toward that idea on Wednesday, a development first reported by Punchbowl News.

“We’re not creating new policies, new provisions or new law. We’re continuing what exists. So by definition, that’s what it means to me,” he said, following an meeting at the White House with Smith, Senate Finance Chair Mike Crapo (R-Idaho), Senate Majority Leader John Thune and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

Bessent has also endorsed using the budget technique.

However, it's unclear how Johnson would convince deficit hard-liners in the House, who want all of the tax cuts to be offset by corresponding spending cuts.

MAGA isn't a person, Sybil. You're just chanting random phrases.

Since Reagan who's in the Genis book of records for having the highest deficit in US history during his term, Republicans have never left office ever without huge deficit spending, not ever...and the only time they give a fuck about it, is when Democrats are in office...the only reason they give a fuck now, which they don't is because Trump wants to be a fuckin dick-tata and wants to cleanse Washington of evidence of his crimes in the past and now.

Tom Woods had a decent writeup on this topic today:

-----------------------------------

Some people are unhappy about the new spending bill that just passed.

It envisions $2 trillion deficits as far as the eye can see.

How, in this age of DOGE, people wonder, can this be happening?

Answer: nobody cares about cutting spending. I think Thomas Massie does. But nobody else.

Why would they? The constituency for drastically lower spending, which is what we obviously need, is nonexistent. If you poll even Trump voters and give them a list of possible areas to cut, all they'll agree on is foreign aid, which doesn't come close to solving the main problem.

So it's time to face the situation squarely: no one really wants to see spending cut, especially once they come to terms with what that would really mean.

In a way, this realization is liberating. It puts you at peace. You understand that the problem will never be solved until a fiscal crisis occurs.

Then you can begin to have realistic expectations of politics and politicians.

Maybe you can hold off the civilization destroyers for a while. Even defund them.

You can make sure the Supreme Court isn't dominated by left-wing lunatics.

And if you have the will and the desire, you can change foreign policy.

If these things happened, I'd be perfectly content even if spending were not brought under control. This inner peace comes from recognizing that nobody cares and that it's never going to happen.

The President does not set the budget, moron. The House does.

They are cutting fraud and waste and there is a lot of it.
No, they are not. That is the cover for what they are doing. It is all about trying to justify another huge deficit creating tax cuts for the people who need them the least. They are building a plutocracy and you are on board for it.

THE HOUSE BUDGET BILL HAS CUTS FOR THE CHILD TAX CREDIT ON THE CHOPPIN BLOCK. IF AND WHEN THE SENATE PASSES IT...SAY GOOD BYE TO EASY MONEY YOU POOR HARD WORKING SUCKERS THAT DON'T VOTE!!
