I don't want to see anybody hurt by all this BS, but I wouldn't be up set with the Canadians if they just shut the power off for a day or so and showed the stupid MAGA just how much power they do supply us, and I would think with the tariffs on power the price will go up and a lot of Americans will be paying more .
IMO it is going to be a wild shit show and think it has ONLY just begun.

Yep. A lot of that Canadian power is bought by rural electric co-ops like the one we have here. So the people who will be hurt by having to pay 25% more for their electricity will mostly be Trump voters. And because they started out stupid, they won't blame Trump as they should -- they'll be pissed at Canada. Think Trump will spend billions to help them out like he had to do with our farmers during the last Four Long Years of Sorrow?

And a lot of people in the mid west that voted for Trump also depend on Canada for their power and will also be hurt.
They got what they wanted so now they will be paying more not only for power buy a lot of other things they buy.

The negative effects will ripple across the US economy. The MAGAts will, of course, blame Biden and the Democrats. I doubt American voters, especially Trump voters, will accept that excuse over the next several months as things get worse, not better.
