Kerry used the military to make himself look good for a future career in politics. He chose naval service because it was safe but ended up in a position--division officer on a destroyer--that had no visibility. He volunteered for Swift Boats to obtain something of a hero status. He then abused the medals / awards system, something an officer can easily do but is expected not to do because it's dishonorable to do so, spent less than 90 days on a one-year Vietnam tour then gamed the system to get returned to the US where he found military service was not the feather in your cap politically he thought it would be. So, he did a 180 and became a radical Leftist and traitor.

That has NOTHING to do with Trump and everything to do with Kerry being a huge POS traitor and deserving of the penalties that go with that.

I guess you missed the point, he served, he volunteered, he served, be it for political reasons or not, he put himself in Harm’s Way in service of his country, and the rest of your Soup Can accusations have been debunked

Wrong. He put himself briefly in harm's way to build his resume for future political office. He didn't give a shit about his subordinates or the nation, just himself and what he could get out of it.

He was in theater for less than 90 days on a 1-year rotation. He somehow managed to give himself 3 purple hearts and not have so much as a small scar to show for that. With number three, he immediately put in for a transfer back to the US which was granted on the basis of those awards. Given that he was, for all intents, uninjured, the right thing to do was to stay and finish his tour of duty out.

Instead, he got what he wanted--several medals--and then abandoned his men and the unit for safety. Kerry is both a fraud and a traitor.
