It seems like they're cutting a ton - but it's a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of the budget & the debt. I don't think it will benefit everyone. And it's hard to believe how much worse the economy is today compared to just 2 short months ago.
The government is bloated and needs to be trimmed. Musk did it with X so he has experience with trimming dead weight. We can't continue on our bloated trajectory.
He was great prior to the pandemic and has only been in office 6 weeks so you have no sustained track record for your opinion.

Not sure why "prior to the pandemic" matters. All it says is that he can be a decent economic President as long as everything is smooth.
