So he lied. Russia has attacked neighbors regularly since WW2, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Ukraine in 2014 and 2022, Georgia, Syria and Afghanistan for examples. They are expansionist and always have been. Their aggression was what created NATO. That is why they want it gone. And Trump is a willing partner. Russia is the enemy of peace.

Agreed and that's on him but when so many Republicans support him in doing so, I think it will end up doing more harm than good.
Trump conceding that there's a risk of recession due to his policies is not good either.
At this point, a recession is almost impossible to avoid. The only questions are how soon, how bad, and how long?
trump is claiming that we will rebuild new industrial infrastructure in a few weeks. It takes decades to build industrial infrastructure, so even if he was right about rebuilding, it would be 10 or more years from now. I just do not think he is right.

It depends, but if Trump keeps going in the direction he's promised, then yes. It will last as long as Trump keeps weakening the US economy.
IMO, he'll back off like he usually does and then bring it up again in another month or two. The Yo-Yoing is going to piss off a lot of Americans.
The economy reacts to decision making. The decision making based on the uncertainty of trump's statements has already happened. Even if trump comes to his senses, the decision making has already happened.
We will have a trump recession. It is as unavoidable as the sunrise.
Putin recognizes that trump is weak, and willing to support Putin's wars.
We lost and we were the bad guys......the only way to get past it is to own it.
