Who do you think that hurts the most, the whiskey drinkers in Europe or the wine drinkers in the United States?
Tech workers and military contractors--think Edward Snowden type who want to keep their job--have a 25 year fad of Martini bars, Scotch bars, Tequila bars, and Wine bars, that specialize in pricey alcohols from around the world. These small businesses will be hurt the most.

On both sides, but I got to believe the Europeans come out ahead, seemingly each country in Europe has it’s own famous whiskey while Americans have some but not a lot of high quality wines

Eating at small restaurants/pubs is what I do. I guestimate that 1/3 of them closed and were boarded up because of covid lockdowns. Four years later we are likely to see an exact repeat of small business closings.

Something fishy is going on to remove competition from big corporate scams such as Outback Steakhouse, Applebee's, and many others that are going bankrupt. This is a long ongoing Wall Street plan.
