An Idaho teacher is in a standoff with her own school district after officials ordered her to remove classroom signs, including one that reads, “Everyone is welcome here.”

Sarah Inama, a sixth-grade history teacher at Lewis and Clark Middle School in Meridian, Idaho, says she won't comply with the order, arguing that the message is a fundamental part to ensuring a positive learning environment for her students.

@TOP, you say you were a teacher, so what do you say about this?

They ha brown hands depicted!

The administration is standing their ground. The final directive says she "must" take the signs down and has to remove them "by the end of the school year."

I say she should keep her political virtue signaling OUT of the classroom. As a public school teacher, her job is to teach her students HOW to think, not WHAT to think. Her own personal agenda shouldn't be pushed onto her students.

My wife is a teacher and she posts rules/policies in her classroom. Things like "Be Kind". I guess she should take them down. Don't want to tell students want to think, AmIright???
