There may be some people out there that are more attracted to young boys, girls or animals of a particular gender. But most are just looking for a victim that can't or is less likely to report them.

Your attitude harms the victim as they are left wondering what they did to attract their attacker. Sexual preference, usually, has as much to do with the chosen victim as it has to do with a burglar's choice of victim.
