...and IF America is militarily the most powerful nation on planet Earth right now...

...and it appears that, by far, it is...

...then humanity is essentially finished. We are within a decade or two of destroying ourselves. We are all dead men/women walking.

I never would have thought that. In fact, I would have bet against it. But I never for an instant thought enough Americans would give Trump a second chance to destroy our democracy...and I was dead wrong on that.

I now suspect I was dead wrong when I was thinking that humanity would not soon destroy itself.

What a fucking revolting development that is!

Well, not true, but that aside, the US usually loses the peace that follows. For example, we crushed Afghanistan and took the country over. Where the US failed, was in the peace that followed. We, the US, doesn't have the ruthlessness to follow through and get the job done once the war ends. We didn't in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere.

If anything, WW 2 was a big exception in that way. Wilson--and the US--failed in the peace that followed WW 1 and that, in part, resulted in round two.

The US starts for-profit wars for Wall Street. We were in Afghanistan for 20 years then fled in a haste leaving $100s of billions in war equipment behind.

It's just liberals. J6 was a "FEDsurrection" meant to quell any State Legislature challenges to the illegitimate (s)election of Joe Biden. The FEDs even planted pipe bombs to "discover" "later" (Plan B) if they couldn't coerce people into entering the Capitol building (Plan A). They needed an "emergency", and they were going to manufacture one either way, whether it be Plan A or Plan B.

BTW, you can't point to anything other than the J6 "FEDsurrection", can you? Why is that?

The rapid termination of our species' existence via World War III or anything else
is quickly becoming the better option that living in a world where the devolved troglodytes
outnumber the respectable humans.

This forum is indeed a microcosm of America, I believe,
and if I'm right, we're there now and civilization is dead.
