Papal front runners. If the Black guy becomes the next pope, white Republicans will scream DEI till their buttholes explode

Oddly enough, so was Jesus Christ.
Said who? The left? The left doesn't believe in him , they say he is a fable. Yet when trying to make a point they make statements all the time as if he were a real entity "which he is" . The left is a very very confused lot,....always have been.

The left within the space of a couple of sentences.

" There is no Jesus nor is there a God,...science tells us so. " A few seconds later..........." Jesus was very woke you know"

And the left wonders why less and less people believe them about much of anything anymore. :p Why would they? NOBODY believes habitual liars.

Dont get me wrong,....I harbor no I'll will toward people who belong to the Catholic faith. I'm sure most are fine people. I do however feel bad for them that they have been deceived so BADLY. They need to read the Bible more,....if they did there is no way they could possibly continue being Catholics considering the fact that much of Catholic doctrine goes DIRECTLY AGAINST the teachings of the Bible.

What on Earth are you talking about here?

Calling the Pope or a priest FATHER? Have you never even read the Bible? Clearly they are not to be called that.

There is something in the Bible that says one should not call the Pope or a priest "FATHER?"

Could you cite that passage (or those passages)? I never knew that...and I, now of an agnostic mind, have read the Bible and never even saw "the Pope" mentioned...nor any comment that priests ought not to be called "father."
There are many examples like this.

Since the first one you mentioned seems to be incorrect, perhaps you could mention some of the many others.

It is one thing if just average every day people within the church do these things mistakenly,.....it is quite another when Church leadership itself is teaching false doctrine.

What on Earth are you talking about?

What "false doctrine(s)?"

The baptism of babies= Wrong.
Calling the pope and Priest father= wrong
Praying to "saints" and Mary= Totally wrong.
Believing that you need a priest to act as a go between that can help absolve you of your sins= laughably wrong.

I could go on and on all day actually.

According to the bible the first one I mentioned is TOTALLY and undeniably CORRECT. Unless you think that the pope or even priests are not human "men",...which of course they are.

"Matthew 23:9-11 KJV. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant."

The up and down repeating of orchestrated prayer in church like trained parrots or robots.

Matthew 6

5And when you pray, you shall not be like the https://biblehub.com/nkjv/matthew/6.htm#footnoteshypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 6But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you [c]openly. 7And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

8“Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. 9In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11Give us this day our daily bread.
12And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
[d]For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
14“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

It comes to a point where any person of good conscience and intelligence should ask themselves...... WHY is this church asking me to do things that go DIRECTLY AGAINST the teachings of the Bible? As I said,....I feel badly for those that have been deceived,...but only to a certain point simply because it is incumbent upon them to actually READ the Bible so they cannot be so easily deceived by such OBVIOUSLY FALSE teachings.

Sometimes I feel like I am living in a place where most of the world is under a veil of darkness with their eyes wide shut. Awake but without the ability to see what is CLEARLY right in front of them. To know that hundreds of millions of people do not actually already know that what I am saying about the Catholic Church is totally true is absolutely mind boggling to me. A CHILD would know it within just a couple of minutes of actually reading what the Bible says about it.

Why are powerful people in the Church so hostile to Mass in Latin is another good question I think.

Swearing oaths and swearing to tell the truth,...swearing to anything actually,...is strictly forbidden if a person actually reads the bible. Yet when we go to court what is the first thing we are asked to do? More people need to ask the question WHY IS THAT?

C'mon, Stone.

In the context of this quote, are you suggesting it means what you are suggesting it means?

What did you, as a Christian, call your mother's spouse?

Are you suggesting that no Christians have fathers, grandfathers, great grandfathers, or godfathers?

Stop. This is a step too far.

READ IT. That's what it says. It is talking about people in positions of authority like priests/pope. So I ask you this.........WHY IS IT that the Catholic church CHOSE to call those people FATHER? They didn't have to. Teacher, pastor, any number of other terms could have been used but instead THEY CHOSE.........Father. C.mon is right. OPEN your eyes frank.

Elsewhere in Matthew, specifically at Matthew 5:17ff, it says: "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law and the prophets. I have come, not to abolish them, but to fulfill them. Of this much I assure you; UNTIL HEAVEN AND EARTH PASS AWAY, not the smallest letter of the law, not the smallest part of a letter shall be done away with until it all comes true."

At Leviticus 20-13, it says: “If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable deed; they have forfeited their lives.”

At Leviticus 25:44ff, it says: "Slaves, male and female, you may indeed possess, provided you BUY them from among the neighboring nations. You may also BUY them from among the aliens who reside with you and from their children who are born and reared in your land. Such slaves YOU MAY OWN AS CHATTELS, and leave to your sons as their hereditary property, MAKING THEM PERPETUAL SLAVES. But you shall not lord it harshly over any of the Israelites, your kinsmen."

At Deuteronomy 22:18ff it says: "If a man has a stubborn and unruly son who will not listen to his FATHER or mother, and will not obey them even though they chastise him, his FATHER and mother shall have him apprehended and brought out to the elders at the gate of his home city, where his fellow citizens shall stone him to death."

As a "Christian" do you ignore those last three like the Catholics do...or do you advocate for them?
