Papal front runners. If the Black guy becomes the next pope, white Republicans will scream DEI till their buttholes explode

Imagine thinking you need to confess to a Priest who is actually " just some guy" so that he can be a go between between you and God almighty. NO!!!!!!!! There is ONLY ONE who acted as a go between and that is Jesus Christ.
Strange since it was the Catholic church that moved the Christian sabbath to Sunday and at the same council of Nicaea in 325 CE voted your Jesus divine as part of a triune god, speaking of needing a middle man, pray to God not a man named Jesus as a god

The Council of Nicaea, also known as the First Council of Nicaea, was a gathering of Christian bishops convened by Roman Emperor Constantine I in 325 AD. Its primary purpose was to address the Arian controversy, a dispute about the nature of Jesus Christ's relationship to God. The council condemned Arianism and established the Nicene Creed, which affirmed the divinity of Christ and the Trinity.

Obviously you have no clear knowledge of the Bible . If you did you would never have posted a false Image of Jesus Christ in your post. You don't even have the basic knowledge of knowing how terribly insulting that is to the hundreds of millions of Christians world wide regardless of if you actually believe the Bible or not. So no,....logic would dictate that you have no clear understanding of it.

You spend all you time here posting insulting memes and words at others in a most unChrist-like manner. Yet are poutraged over a meme. Okay then, Cletus.

BTW my mother was a Sunday School teacher and devout Christian. We kids spent literally YEARS in Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Confirmation classes, and church. I've read the Bible front to back (except I skipped that whole so-and-so begat so-and-so bit lol) several times -- RSV and the King James. We had to memorize large passages. Your words here indicate that your ideas about Jesus and Christianity were fed to you by flawed humans. Try reading your Bible again, this time with your heart. You'll be amazed when your eyes finally open.

The Arian controversy was a major theological debate in early Christianity, primarily revolving around the nature of Jesus Christ's divinity. Arius, a presbyter, argued that Christ was not co-eternal or consubstantial with God the Father, meaning Jesus was created and therefore not fully divine.

Faux Christian MAGAts could care less about history. They only care about what their Orange Jesus tells them to care about.

What a brainless, asinine post lacking any facts or intelligence. Quoting a race hustling twitter post is a sign of stupidity and ignorance.

Talk about being WILLFULLY blind! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

You actually proved the point I was making earlier FOR ME. The Bible was NOT talking about parents,....it was talking about not calling people in positions of authority like priests or the Pope father.
Nonsense. The verse you quoted does not say that...and it cannot logically be inferred from what is written there.

You offer that only as an excuse for claiming this to be a mighty transgression against the Bible perpetrated by the Catholic Church.

It is abject nonsense...and even I, a non-Catholic, can easily see that.

Exactly,...thanks for reminding me. The Sabbath Is NOT on a SUNday. Nor was Christ born on December 25th,....but a whole lot of Pagan SO CALLED gods were.

OK Frank........LOL But what about the other issues I addressed? Nothing? Don't matter? What?

What about the other issues I addressed, Stone?

None of the issues you addressed could possibly come close to suggesting that Catholics should not be considered Christians...as was inferred in the initial post that I addressed.

Dont get me wrong,....I harbor no I'll will toward people who belong to the Catholic faith. I'm sure most are fine people. I do however feel bad for them that they have been deceived so BADLY. They need to read the Bible more,....if they did there is no way they could possibly continue being Catholics considering the fact that much of Catholic doctrine goes DIRECTLY AGAINST the teachings of the Bible.
That's just your opinion.

The Catholic response is that it was by the church's authority that the canon of scripture was even defined in the first place, therefore scripture's authority is secondary to ecclesiastical authority.

Customs, sacraments, and traditions developed in Catholic canon law are consistent with Christ's promise to send the Holy spirit to guide his followers.

The Catholic church did not buy Luther's argument that the most brilliant theologians of the previous thousand years who had upheld Catholic teachings were wrong because one German pastor said so.

The whole Catholic/Protestant (Christian/Catholic) nonsense thing reminds me of the schism between Sunni and Shia Islam. A big deal over nothing. And that reminds me of the Star Trek episode that had a religion divided because of how many globes were made originally.

Pure nonsense of Religious guesswork.
