Disagreed. Sexual repression results in weird behavior. The Victorian Age did the same. While a small percentage of pedophiles exist across the spectrum of humanity, a society that represses sex is bound to create a society that deviates from the norm.

Example; even if a person had pedo tendencies, by being able to have regular sex with an adult partner, those feelings wouldn't manifest themselves. A person who isn't allowed to have sex at all might be bottled up like a volcano with no way of telling when or how it will explode.

No, that is not what "fundie christians" believe. They believe that all children go to heaven unless they have reached the Age of Reason (8 years old, I believe), and those only go to hell if they reject god... not for ignorance.
