Two Mexican Nationals Busted in Colorado With 180,000 Rounds of Ammunition

alright, back to the OP..........i'm confused because the article is light on actual facts. Is there a Colorado law that prohibits ammunition purchase or possession by certain visa holders? or is that federal law?

Guess the don't need to be deported

Cops do their job (Good on them), and our resident sheet wearer has an orgasm because the perps were Mexican nationals.

Yet our pointy hooded palooka is happy as a clam when yahoos that attempted an insurrection on Jan. 6th were found with weapons that included incendiary making material.

And all one has to do is a simple Google for the last 25 years to see the arrests of white supremacist/nationalist types being busted with cache of weapons and such.

Or the last couple of years with such pinheads actually killing people with a smile, a seig heil and a goose step!

Nope, Vols is cool with all that.

BLOW IT OUT THE BOTTOM OF YOUR SHEET, VOLSROCKS!

Not AFAIK. The problem is that they were foreign nationals illegally in the US with that much ammo. At least that's what I gathered from the OP. Not a lawyer but there's several MAGAt Sea lawyers on JPP. They might know.

What evidence?
You do know there is no limit on the amount of ammunition an American citizen in good standing with the law is allowed to own right?

Just because you piss your pants in the presence of a fire arm doesn't mean the FBI is involved.

In fact why don't you ring them up and let them know someone on an internet forum said they had a lot less than 180k rounds of ammo.

See if they subpoena records.

Fucking weak idiot.

What's the point of having all those "Fast and Furious" Guns, if you don't have ammo for them?

Eric Holder is probably in Tears at the bust.

What about the other three cars and that Truck load?

Profiling is bad, according to Democrats; they let them go until some white guy with a BB gun comes along they can arrest to show they aren't racist n stuff. Can't arrest blacks and latinos unless they have enough white defendants, you know, according to these Democrat halfwits.

It's not a crime to own that much ammo, is it? Asking for a friend.

Now, illegal foreign nationals having it is another matter. No doubt they were driving it back to Mexico for a Cartel.
The article states the following......

"Both men have been charged with unlawful possession of ammunition by an alien admitted under a nonimmigrant visa."

A nonimmigrant visa allows foreign nationals to enter the United States for a temporary stay for specific purposes, such as tourism, business, study, or work. It is distinct from an immigrant visa, which permits permanent residency. Nonimmigrant visas are categorized by the purpose of the visit, with examples including tourist visas (B-2), business visas (B-1), student visas (F-1), and work visas (H-1B).

so, unless those visas expired, they were not illegal. I'm still not able to find a federal law that prohibits ammo purchase or possession by those with nonimmigrant visas, or a state law.

Take all their I'll gotten money, take their product,...take their PRIDE,....then deport them home with NOTHING.
So to you, the punishment for attempting to smuggle ammo back to Mexico, should be to deport them back to Mexico, and no prison time?

Immigrants or people temp here on visas cannot buy ammo.
There is no such law. Permanent residents generally have the same rights as citizens to buy a gun. Tourists on temporary visas come to the USA for hunting or target shooting all the time, and have a lot of leeway to buy ammo.

Some states restrict it more, but federal law just requires proof that you are over 18 or 21 to buy ammo(depending on the type of ammo). Mexican citizens can show their Mexican passport, and buy ammo in states like Colorado.

No, but there is a federal law about moving that ammo over state, or international lines. These Mexicans were allowed to enter the USA legally, and buy a lot of ammo. Their crimes was to start transporting it back to Mexico.

The illegals graduated from ramming stolen cars into convenience stores to steal cigarettes to ramming gun stores to steal ammo and weapons. Likely all stolen.

They're also big on piling 8 into a car and then driving around trying to cause rear end collisions, when they're not driving around drunk on their asses and running red lights, stop signs, and running over women and children pedestrians, usual other Mexicans.
