The bigger problem will be the refusal by China to ship anything now, coupled with American vendors cancelling orders for fall sales due to tariffs.

China can ride out this storm more easily than gluttonous Americans can.

And then there is the fact that corporations will hike prices even without tariffs, and blame trump. Who will in turn blame Biden.

Xi knows that this will cause some serious political problems for Trump, so he has the incentive to wait it out.

Except trump has absolutely no care about political problems. He has two years to destroy the nation before the mid terms, and Republicans are working tirelessly to make it harder for certain demographics to vote.

He will not be convicted even if he were impeached. Perhaps if people get desperate enough, someone will simply kill him. Which then gives us Vance.

Well a lot of CEOs of some of the major retail companies have said they were going to start to raise prices as soon as they knew for sure Trumps tariffs were going to take effect and I have already seen some raise, Auto Zone has increased some prices already , so has Walmart, and Target.
I am sure there are more it is only started.
And the shelves have already started to empty out.
And I read that there are a lot of right wingers already crying " I didn't vote for this "
well they got what they wanted now we are will be paying.
It is going to be a real shit show, and it has ONLY BEGUN.

I doubt if the Chinese will suffer much at all. Since the #FatFascistFelon pulled this shit during his last term, they've opened new markets for themselves across the globe. Other countries will welcome to opportunity to buy their electronics, clothing, housewares, appliances, tools, shoes, etc. and enhance their citizens' standard of living while allowing them to save money. The only real losers here are us.
