Here are a few generalizations I've made that are positive about Democrats over the years:

Clinton was very politically astute. His buttered bread landed butter-side up every time. He recognized when he needed to compromise and did it to a balanced budget.

Obama is an unmatched orator. The guy is the penultimate salesman. I won't fault him in the least for that. He knows how to get elected.

Biden was nothing but a clusterfuck.

Bush I was the commensurate insider and totally worthless as President.

Trump's big problem is his public persona is one of being a completely arrogant asshole that says shit before his brain is engaged. That is in contrast to results.

Bush II was a mediocre president faced with a difficult set of choices. He didn't do great, but he didn't fuck things away, like Biden did, either.
