Why is Trump attacking the universities?

How is requiring universities to pay taxes, like all the rest of us have to pay, somehow attacking them? Did Trump launch indiscriminant airstrikes at any universities like he was the IDF thinking they were hospitals?

If the vermin want Federal money, they can comply with the laws; it's pretty simple and straightforward. Comply with the Federal Civil Rights Acts or get your welfare cut off. They have billions in endowments, and other colleges exist that don't receive Federal money. Nothing Speshul about Harvard, other than it's a cess pool of racism, corruption, and a terrorist haven.
