Agreed....but I'd love ot see if they have the fortitude to do so. IMO, like their Orange Messiah himself, I think there's a lot of chickenshits among them.
Not true. Boeing is a military supplier, so they must provide a chain-of-custody for everything that it sells the military. That includes only hiring US citizens for that part of the business, and extensive background checks on everyone who touches the plane. It costs more.
The taxpayer will still have to put a billion dollars in modifications into the plane, that will only be with the US Government for as long as trump is in office. If they put the billion dollars into a normal Air Force One, it would be in service for 30 to 40 years. That makes this a huge loss for the taxpayers... And a huge gain for trump personally, who gets a free plane for life.
